Fees, taxes and scholarship opportunities


For Italian students, tuition fees are those normally required for the two-years Master of Engineering course offered by University of Naples Federico II. See the UNINA web page or the quick guide for tax payment for more detailed information.

This is while for foreign students tuition fee waivers and scholarships are available.

More specifically, the tuition fees and taxes (accident insurance is included) are:

  • No EU citizens: € 140,00 for regional tax plus € 16,00 for stamp;
  • EU citizens: € 200,00 for registration fee, € 140,00 for regional tax plus € 16,00 for stamp (marca da bollo).

For academic year 2020/2021, University of Naples Federico II offers scholarships for foreign students within the Study in Naples program. Scholarships' recipients must enrol at the first year of one of the international Degree Courses offered by UNINA for the a.y. 2020/2021. Selection is for a total of 24 (twenty-four) 2-year scholarships for international Bachelor or Master Degree Courses, including the two-year Master degree in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering. The call for application deadline is May 15th, 2020 at 1:00 pm.

Moreover, every year the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs launches a call that offers scholarships to students from all around the world who want to study in Italy. The deadline for application is usually around the end of May.
